In 2018 Officially classified and as a response to Ford's Mustang,
the Chevrolet Camaro is a mid-sized pony car. Sharing a platform
and most of its components with the Pontiac Firebird, the Camaro
debuted in 1966 for the 1967 model year. With a continuing run
through the current model year, the Camaro is an automotive icon
and a favorite among many collectors. Rounding out the first
generation of the Camaro, the 1969 model year was available in both
coupe and convertible body styles. In addition to these
configurations, the Camaro also offered every buyer with a plethora
of performance and appearance options. The three main packages
were: the RS, SS, and Z/28 packages. The idea behind offering a
variety of options for buyers allowed Chevrolet to transform the
Camaro out of the personal car market into a more niche performance
segment. Although the 1969 model year shared many items from the
previous model years, it included all-new sheet metal (except the
hood and trunk lid) which gave this model a much lower, wider, more
aggressive look that was special to only the 1969s. Highlighted
here is a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible. Donning a dusk blue
exterior, white convertible top, and blue interior, this Camaro is
a beauty. With styling that includes rally wheels and white
pinstriping, there is no question that this convertible will not be
for sale long. All exterior finishes have been exceptionally
well-kept, and the convertible top is not only clean but also taut.
This Camaro is powered by a 350ci V8 that is complimented by an
automatic transmission with a 4-bbl carburetor. In addition, it is
also noted that this vehicle has obtained new suspension, tires,
and brakes in 2018. Inside the cabin, all passengers are met with
glorious blue vinyl front buckets and a rear bench. The rear
passenger space is not the roomiest, but it is extremely clean and
shows no signs of wear. There are some minor scratches on the
driver's door panel and slight cracking on the steering wheel. The
dash and center console have been accented with woodgrain inserts
that add a touch of luxury. Included in the sale of this vehicle
are a variety of original parts that have been updated over the
years. They include wheel covers, valve covers, intake manifold,
and an additional OEM bumper to name a few. Continuing to remain a
vital part of many collectors' collections, the Chevrolet Camaro
should be considered an automotive icon. This Chevrolet Camaro will
not disappoint and we hope that you consider this Camaro for your
next purchase. Please call if interested or e-mail with specific
