Vehicle Description
If you're looking for a pro street Chevy, look no further! This
1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS tribute Pro Street is a dual-quad big
block supercharged machine that can eat up any asphalt from the
boulevard to the dragstrip. The fact that this exceptional build
also happens to be made from one of your favorite classic American
muscle car icons is just the cherry on top.
You want a car like this to make the right first impression. The
factory never offered a blue color with this much metallic element,
and since there's less than 2800 miles on this build, its modern
luster really loves to radiate in the sunshine. That kind of
presentation means they also took the time to make sure the
bodywork is looking good including the straight body panels and
even gaps. This distinction is only heightened by the iconic dual
racing stripe package that has been painted in a pearl white for
some added radiance. Plus, there are plenty of aggressive touches
for a proper Super Sport tribute, such as the darker grille,
blackout rear panel, and correct SS badging. And while this has an
SS-style power dome cowl hood, that's likely not what first grabs
your attention up front. You have that awesome air grabber leading
the way to let people know that the power this one makes is so big
that the hood can't contain it! Plus, you have proper weld racing
wheels. Those larger and wider ones in the rear give this an
excellent stance and show people where the power really meets the
pavement.
The black interior is a nice look on a car that wants to
immediately get down to speedy business. So the look is clean and
useful to make sure the focus is on owning the blacktop. You have.
You get a full custom safety padded race cage - even the rear seat
is sacrificed for the bars and rear tubbing. The front seats are
proper modern bucket seats that keep you well-planted, especially
with the racing harnesses. The driver gets a command position with
an upgraded sports steering wheel on a tilt column, a carbon fiber
style dash panel with a full AutoMeter Pro-Comp readout package,
and a B&M ratchet shifter in the center console.
Under the hood is a true beast. And because everyone will want a
look at this motor, they made sure it's always ready to show off
thanks to a ton of polished components. But what you'll really love
is all the substance behind the style. They started with a 454
cubic-inch big block bored .030 over to 468ci total. And while
that's a monster displacement, you instantly spot the twin Holley
750 four-barrel carburetors that feed the awesome BDS Racing 8-71
blower. Plus, the V8 has been built to be a fortified unit to work
well with the force-fed power. It includes 10:1 compression, Keith
Black pistons, a cast crank, and long tube headers. It's a stout
package that's certified 1085 hp by NHRA. It has all the right
supporting components you want, too, like MSD ignition, braided
lines, and a big aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. The
mighty motor fires up with that cool growl and whirr combination
that tells everyone you have supercharged V8 power. The 700R4
four-speed automatic transmission is a stout unit, and it feeds an
upgraded 12-bolt 4.11 rear end with Mark Williams 35-spline spool
axles. And the upgraded rear end is a Chassis Engineering setup to
hold those massive Mickey Thompson Sportsman rear tires. Power
steering, front disc brakes, and rear ladder bars with adjustable
coilovers rear complete a well-done professional-grade package.
So as you look over every inch of this Chevelle, you can see it's
both stunning to look at and a serious quarter-mile king. That
makes it a total package that's ready to impress right now. Call
