Vehicle Description
This 2003 Chevrolet Corvette is a two-owner car that has a rare
color, loaded interior, low mileage, nice paperwork, and an overall
attitude that tells you there's a lot more appeal here than just
the value price on a powerful V8 icon.
The name Electron Blue has an electric-level vibrance that just
looks fast standing still. In fact, it was a popular color for the
Z06s, but was not seen very often in the targa coupes. So you get a
value price and a targa top while also associating with plenty of
other fast company. The factory finish does show signs of being
enjoyed over the years. But the history shows this is a two-owner
car with about 15 years with its first owner in Nevada. So it has a
good history and it has seen proper respect over its low mileage
life thus far. There are some nice updates given over the last few
years. Some are easier to spot, like the painted brake calipers,
tinted windows, and polished exhaust tips. Others like the newer
suspension components are harder to see, but it does give this a
good ride. And that's the overall theme of this one. They made sure
this modern classic is the kind of car that you'll want to hop in
any day/time and hit the road.
The Shale leather interior is a complimenting color to the blue
exterior. So this one seems like the right car to take out the
targa roof and share with the world. And dual-zone automatic A/C
climate control keeps everyone nice and cool even when the roof is
gone. It's an overall terrific cruiser thanks to the level of
features. This includes power seats with memory, power windows,
power locks, keyless entry/alarm, a tilt/telescopic steering
column, dual front airbags, an electric rear defogger, and a
premium Bose AM/FM/CD stereo. And as comfortable as this one is, it
also makes sure to be focused on your enthusiast's heart. Desirable
options like the head-up display keep you focused on the road
ahead.
Under the hood is a clean and correct 5.7-liter LS1 fuel-injected
V8. There are even nice details like an upgraded air filter and a
newer battery. There was even a full exhaust upgrade with headers,
an X-pipe, and MagnaFlow mufflers. It gives this a nice hit of
added power (we have a dyno sheet showing 340hp at the rear
wheels.) But it also never takes this V8's tone out of a pleasant
rumble range. After all, part of the appeal of a Corvette like this
is the ability to experience the grand tour. That means a sports
car that's great for long distances. That's why you have features
like the four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive, cruise
control, and ABS. And the fully independent sports suspension and
four-wheel disc brakes are terrific for every back road you
discover along the way.
The sale comes complete with a reproduction buildsheet, a
reproduction window sticker, owner's manual, maintenance records,
and the dyno sheet. This is the distinct Corvette that was built to
cruise. So if you want to drive your C5, you know this one is
irresistible. Call today!!!
