This 1978 Ford F-150 Ranger is an extra clean and original truck
from the Pacific NW. This truck has definitely been well cared for
and maintained. It runs excellent and sounds awesome!! It is clear
to see this by the condition it is in. It has a great original look
with an excellent color and trim combo for that era. The body on
this truck is in amazing original condition. Just a really straight
and honest truck with no surprises. It appears to still have all of
its original paint as well. The colors are Cinnamon Glow Metallic
and Wimbledon White. The paint really is in excellent condition.
All of the original chrome and stainless still looks great and the
underside is exceptionally clean. You can still see the original
primer on the floors. The interior is also in excellent condition
with just some slight wear on the seat and everything is original
with the exception of the aftermarket stereo and speakers. Just a
really nice example of an original interior. Even the original
floor mat is in great shape. This truck has the Deluxe Ranger
Package. Headlights, tail lights, blinkers, heat, wipers, and horn
are all working.
Mechanically this F-150 is top notch. The 351M V8 (5.8L) engine
runs strong and was rebuilt by S & S Engines in Spokane, WA. We
have the receipt and the engine has around 10,000 miles on it. They
added an aluminum Edelbrock intake, Edelbrock Carb, a new radiator,
and dual flowmaster exhaust. The transmission is the Automatic C6
that shifts nice and the rear axle is the Ford 9 Inch with 2.75
Gears. It recently had 4 new shocks installed and this truck has
always been well maintained. This truck runs and drives so nice and
could be used as a daily driver if you wanted.
