revised grille without a central divider, new surface-mounted
side-marker lights rather than the previous flush-mount units and
an instrument cluster was now shared with the Valiant featuring a
large, rectangular speedometer and several, small, round gauges.
This Dart was ordered with the bulletproof, tried-and-true 225 C.I.
slant-six engine breathing through a 1-barrel carburetor.
Rotational speed from the slant-six gets to the rear end through a
column shifted 3-speed automatic transmission, ensuring smooth and
seamless acceleration. Now, with an engine like this, you won't be
setting any records at the dragstrip, but this Dart absolutely has
