Vehicle Description
1964 Chevrolet Bel Air
In 1950 Chevrolet would introduce the Bel Air name which would go
down in history as one of the most iconic classics ever produced.
They remained in production until 1975 and had eight unique
generations. They were the highest trim level initially but then
dropped down to the mid level between the Biscayne and Impala. They
are desirable cars and examples like this beautiful survivor are
becoming more and more difficult to find. Being a 1964 it was the
last year for the 5th generation before they were redesigned again.
This car is all original and has 12,569 original miles on. It even
comes with its original tires! It is truly like a car that was
frozen in time. It is a barn find that has been a Texas car most of
its life and the body/floors are all solid and rust free. It wears
its original Desert Beige (code 938) paint which is in good shape.
All of the stainless and chrome is in good condition and has a nice
finish. As mentioned it comes with the factory tires but new thin
white walls have been installed to make it safe on the road. It has
its original wheels with Chevrolet hubcaps which are in good
shape.
Under the hood is the cars numbers matching 283 V8 motor that
starts up and runs well. Everything on the motor is very stock with
a majority of components being Chevrolet Orange and it is topped
off with a single snorkel air cleaner. Backing up the motor is a 2
speed powerglide that shifts smoothly. It has drum brakes and the
stock suspension.
The interior of the car is its original Fawn cloth and vinyl
combination. It has its factory front/rear bench seat and the
upholstery is in great condition especially considering its age.
The dash is nicely painted and topped off with all its stock
features down to the gauges and Delco push button radio. The trunk
has plenty of additional storage space and the pan is solid. It
comes with a car cover and a 1964 Chevrolet brochure.
You don't see many cars of this vintage in this good of shape and
with this low original miles. It was clearly stored indoors and
well cared for.
Give this nice survivor a new home for $22,500.00!
