Vehicle Description
1956 Ford Sunliner It has power steering, factory restored brakes,
working radio & clock & is automatic transmission. It has been kept
mostly in the garage, and I have taken it on short drives about 15
times, drawing numerous whistles & thumbs-up on every trip. It has
been completely reliable on start-up with smooth driving with each
outing. I consider the exterior & interior excellent with some
minor nicks. There are 4 items to note. 1. There is a 1/2-1 inch
lifter in the front driver side spring, however, I did have the
springs & shocks replaced; 2. there is a 'blow back vent' for the
292 TBird y-block engine that may sometimes drip oil, as I
understand this is a normal expectation of the y-block engine: 3.
there is a transmission leak near the pan; 4. it has clear North
Carolina title reflecting the vehicle plate serial # , yet the
excellent finished color is 1956 mandarin orange vs fiesta red
noted on the vehicle plate. Its odometer reads short of 13,000
miles & I was told if had been restored some 20,000 miles ago. The
top is new, the white side wall tires are excellent to new radials
and it had all hoses changed & a tune up done by the previous owner
