Vehicle Description
This 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle SS396 is a real-deal Super Sport that
has been given the right restoration investments to be an even
better muscle car. That means sharp style inside and out,
four-on-the-floor, and a well-built big block V8 under the
hood.
Silver is a bright color making the right first impression. It has
all the right modern gloss that lets this coupe radiate nicely in
the sunshine. The body has a quality style with nice panels, good
gaps, and doors that shut solid. The brightwork is also looking
nice and bright so that it can showcase the wraparound chrome
bumpers, faux vents in the hood, full trim, and ribbed rockers, and
half chrome headlights. This is a big power machine, and it shows
through those Billet specialties alloys with an 18/20-inch
front/rear forward-leaning stance. And we like how the black
grille, rear panel, and premium vinyl top look awesome against a
bright silver. It all makes for quite a stand-out street
machine.
The black interior is what we love to see on muscle machines,
especially when it also coordinates with the exterior black
accents. The seats, carpeting, and headliner all have a deep and
dark appearance from a quality investment. It's a detailed package,
right down to the working dome light. That makes for a nice coupe
to invite family and friends along for the ride, and you have a
retro-style AM/FM stereo with cassette to keep them happy. But
really, you can already see that this one was built for the driver
to have the most fun. You have a pair of bucket seats up front, a
center console in between, a dual-spoke sports steering wheel, a
tilt column, and a correct-style horizon tach mounted below the
dash.
The engine bay has the clean and mean appearance you want in a big
block machine. At the center is a 396 cubic inch V8. It's built
right with a four-barrel carburetor, HEI ignition, and dual exhaust
with Flowmaster mufflers. It's a powerful package, and the Muncie
M20 four-speed manual transmission means you have complete control
over the motor and its rumbling soundtrack. And because this has
been built to be an all-around solid driver, there are nice
suspension investments like an updated 12-bolt rear, boxed rear
trailing arms, a rear sway bar, and air shocks. You also get power
steering, power brakes, and front discs with drilled and slotted
rotors.
This is the sharp-looking Chevelle hardtop that lets you know it's
worth the extra attention. So if you're ready to be the big block
hero, you need this Super Sport. Call today!!!
