Vehicle Description
The Chieftain was positioned as a mid-range model in the Pontiac
lineup, falling between the entry-level Pontiac Star Chief and the
Pontiac Catalina. This Pontiac Chiefton has been repainted black
and red. While the paint exhibits durability, a touch of wet
sanding and buffing in select areas could elevate its finish to
smoothness. The interior seats are also in red and black and are in
excellent condition providing both comfort and style. All interior
features work fine including the ac that blows cold. The car is
fitted with halo headlights that give a nice modern touch. Under
the hood is a 400 V8 4 barrel motor from a 1978 Pontiac. The engine
only has approximately 5,000 miles. This vehicle has a aluminum
radiator, power steering, power disc brakes, original rear end,
3:46 gears. The car drives and handles smoothly thanks to the new
front suspension and rear leaf springs. The exterior has stainless
chrome and the body is rust free.
