Vehicle Description
Cruisin Classics is proud to present this exceptionally clean,
numbers-matching Big Block 1968 Camaro SS! This Camaro is dressed
in beautiful Ermine White paint and a flawless black vinyl top,
just as it came from the factory. The chrome and brightwork is
excellent, as is the badging. There is a black accent band on the
front to complement the top color. The hood features 68 SS hood
louvers (ice cube trays, as they're sometimes called). Also present
is a front chin spoiler and rear trunk spoiler. Putting the rubber
to the road are steel rallye wheels with beauty rings and center
caps wrapped in BF Goodrich Radial TA's. Under the hood is the
numbers matching, Chevy-orange 396ci V-8 (325hp) topped with a
stock intake, a Quadrajet carburetor, and chrome valve covers. The
big block V-8 is mated to a factory-correct TH400 3-speed automatic
transmission and a 12-bolt GM open rear end with 2.73:1 gears.
While looking at the tidy engine bay you'll notice that this is a
working factory AC car - it blows ice cold! Brakes are powered with
discs on the front and drums in the rear. The suspension is stock
with the sturdier multi-leaf spring rear to handle the 396. Inside
the car is a theme of RED that carries through from the OEM style
hook loop carpet to the comfortable vinyl buckets to the tight
headliner. The door panels, kick panels, and rear panels are all in
excellent condition and red like everything else. The red steering
wheel is backed up by power steering and you'll find the shifter
for the automatic transmission on the column - just as it was
ordered. The dash is crack-free and houses clean clear gauges,
climate controls, and a JVC AM/FM/CD stereo with Pioneer speakers.
In the trunk you'll find the original factory radio, a full spare
tire, and a new front license plate holder (in case your state
requires one). The underside of this Camaro is exceptionally clean
with a professionally painted subframe, leaf springs, suspension
components, and rear differential. The transmission is painted
silver and is very clean as well. While underneath you'll also
notice a set of newer Cherry Bomb mufflers that give this car a
great sound. This car is the closest you'll get to a brand new 1968
Camaro SS - with a Big Block and factory AC! This beauty sure won't
be here for long, so give our friendly staff a call right away to
be the next lucky owner of this awesome first-gen!
