The current (3rd) owner of the car did the full restoration utilizing various specialists over the past 12 years. This gorgeous Corvette has been featured in various shows both locally and nationally and is in absolutely stunning condition. The '56 was the year Chevy really committed to the Corvette and features a slew of design/engineering upgrades from the introductory model. Some of the resto and tasteful upgrades on this car include - all new brakes - new slave cylinder - new Magma Flow exhaust system - new shocks - new paint in original Venetian Red with Beige side indents (per spec) - new upholstery stitched with original Corvette waffle pattern - original wheels on new tires - 350 Automatic trans with Lokar shifter - add'l electric radiator fan. The Corvette is powered by a sourced 350 ci 4-bolt main engine with unknown mileage and starts, runs, drives, shifts, and stops perfectly.
