This 1971 Buick GS 350 Convertible is one of those cars that really
seems to get it all right. An impressive color combo, a loaded A/C
interior, the right upgrades, and the numbers-matching V8 all come
together to make for a powerful and premium drop-top cruiser.
The GS 350 is an interesting model. It was a car built for real
driving. The small block is powerful, but it's not meant to be a
quarter-mile machine like its larger siblings. So when you have a
confident cruiser like this, it only gets better when it was made
to look good around town. The factory-correct Stratomist Blue has a
smooth style and a nice metallic radiance. Plus, the white
convertible top makes the full package look like a cresting ocean
wave. While this is premium, it also has the proper speedy style of
a GS. It includes dual hood scoops, a full-width rear spoiler, red
stripe rockers, and upgraded Torq Thrust polished wheels. And the
way the wide dual exhaust tips are routed through the bumper is a
particularly nice way to show how this is a thoughtful and powerful
car.
Since this one looks so good with the white convertible top in
place, you'll be happy to power the roof down and see the white
upholstery inside. It's a clean and comfortable setup where the
high-traffic areas like the carpeting and steering wheel are done
in black to show less dirt from taking it out all weekend long.
Because this is made to be a true cruiser, there are the right
upgrades. There's a retro-style AM/FM radio with aux input, a cup
holder console, and cold-blowing air conditioning - always terrific
to have in a convertible. And the auxiliary readouts and added tach
make sure you know what's going on in the engine bay.
Under the hood is a terrific presentation of a terrific power car
motor. After all, it's great to lift the hood and show off the
special air intake that feeds cool oxygen from the hood scoops
directly into the four-barrel carburetor. And Buick's own 350 cubic
inch V8 is also known for being a terrific torque king. This is the
numbers-matching powerhouse. This is an actual mileage Buick, and
we're even told the motor was rebuilt about 10k miles ago. So you
have the pedigree to go with your stout power. And you'll really
love how this one fires up eagerly and love to hit the road. The
three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes,
and front discs are all part of what makes this GS 350 continue to
be a proper cruiser.
The sale comes complete with the stock wheels, radio, and trim
panels. This is one of those cars for those who know how to really
enjoy a classic. This looks great, feels comfortable, has solid
power, and delivers all-around drop-top appeal. In other words,
this is the one you'll always want to drive. Call today!!!
