For Sale: 1988 Toyota MR2 in Kentwood, Michigan

The first generation Toyota MR2 has to be one of the coolest designed mid-engine Japanese cars on ever. The MR2 was designed and built from 1984 through 2007, however the first and most coveted were built for five years from 1984-1989. They were conceived as a small, economical and sporty car. The MR2 stands for "mid-ship run-about 2-seater". The design project for the MR2 actually started way back in 1976. These cars were light and nimble and pushing out close to 120 HP was more than enough to make these cars very thrilling to drive. Now, to the car itself.....Wow, is all I have to say. This thing is excellent, no not perfect but really, really good, excellent mileage at just over 55,000 and 100% stock and extremely clean. This MR2 has spent most of its life in the South and it is very clear that it has not been driven in any inclement weather with no rust or rot anywhere. Every body panel is original and there has been zero paint-work. The interior is excellent still having the glass T-Top bags in place. It has its original owners manual, keys and car cover. This Toyota also comes with a clean carfax and recent service paperwork. Everything works flawlessly on this car and is 100% ready to be enjoyed...or in my opinion you could place this in a collection and watch it appreciate. There is nothing on this car that scares me, it has its original spare, jack and tool kit that appear to have never been removed, there are no smells, it does not leak or smoke and is one heck of car for the money.
