1951 Chevrolet Styleline Deluxe Sedan. This car has a 235 inline 6
cylinder engine. The head has been re-machined with new valves and
hardened valve seats put in. The cylinders have been cleaned up and
the engine put back together with all new gaskets. This car comes
with a new all metal gas tank and new all aluminum hi-flow
radiator. The car has already been upgraded to a 12volt system with
an alternator the original 6volt generator is still there if you
want to go back to original. I have a power disc brake kit that
comes with the car and has yet to be installed, still need a
firewall mounted brake pedal to mount the master cylinder. The car
still has it's original powerglide automatic transmission. As for
what needs to be done. The transmission sticks and really needs to
be rebuilt, the brake kit needs installed and the gas tank needs to
be drained as it has sat about a year since installation. New tires
are needed as well. The body has moderate surface rust in the usual
places around windows, windshields etc. With a few small spots of
through rust in rear quarter panels. I do have a clear title for
this car and it is still in great shape for it's age. I do still
have all the original interior/exterior trim pieces, seats and
panels
