1955 Chevrolet 3600 Pickup It has a steel floor in the bed and I
put 2x6s on top of the steel, walnut stained and polyurethane on
top of that, rail clamps drilled into the steel bed and 5/16' steel
carriage bolts locking the wood into place. Has 2 sets of 5 wheels
and tires, 16' 10 ply and 17' on original safety rim wheels. Front
bumper and grill, fenders and hood are original. Doors and bed are
original. Fuel tank is welded aluminum hooked to the original
filler neck on the left side. Working Chrome spotlight. All lights
work. Heavy heavy steel back bumper with man made receiver hitch.
All windows and mechanisms are good. Has a new carburetor, new fuel
pump, new brakes and mechanism, new steel brake lines, original
heat and vents, starts using original starter and floorboard
starter 'button'. Starts, runs, drives, shifts, stops as it should.
Has a granny gear 4 speed transmission. You can let it idle, let
out the clutch and walk beside the truck, exactly as farmers have
done many times.) Has two wooden benches with heavy red naugahyde
upholstery and 4' foam padding for my high school classmates to sit
on during parades.
