1949 Plymouth Special Deluxe Woody Wagon I purchased this beautiful
woody 40 years ago when it was totally dismantled by the previous
owner who had passed. After a 4 year complete restoration, it has
been the hit of many car shows over the years. All attempts were
made to restore it to its original condition. What stands out:
-Three speed transmission. -Six cylinder flat head engine. -Painted
with enamel paint in the original Edmonton beige color.
-Restoration included new six volt positive ground wiring harness,
new rocker panels. -Re-chromed front bumper. -Always starts with
the added manual chock. -Original upholstery, steering wheel, dash.
-Radio was rebuilt. -Replica Mopar spot light. -Odometer reads
48836. (cannot verify miles) -Includes new windshield glass and
windshield rubber gasket. (Not installed) -Includes third bench
seat. -Structural ash wood has been completely restored. No rout.
-Inset marine mahogany panels have been replaced with new. (As
original) -Interior doors have new birch panels. (As original) -All
wood has been cared for with Spar Varnish. -Always garage kept.
-Optional hand crafted 16" cedar strip canoe. (Add $3500)
