1982 Would be the final year for the C3 Corvette after having a
fifteen year run on the "Mako Shark" design. The third generation
Corvette would prove to be a very important piece of automotive
history considering that the 1970's would be one of the worst times
for Automotive manufacturers when you take in to effect the worst
gas crisis of the century, the looming government wanting tougher
safety restrictions, better fuel economy, and with the newer
technology integration. It was a tough time, but the Vette would
come out unscathed for the most part. This 1982 has just had a
gorgeous fresh re-paint in its original color of Dark Blue over
Dark Blue leather interior. It is pretty highly optioned with power
steering/brakes, power windows/locks, AC, Tilt, cruise and power
seats. The cross fire injection system has been gone through as
have suspension and brakes. This Vette starts nice, drives nice and
goes down the road very smoothly. The underside is very clean with
no corrosion or rot. This car comes from a collector and has had
excellent care and storage. These C3's are really coming in to
their own when it comes to collectability especially the good ones.
This car is 100% ready to be enjoyed.
