Time to get your hands on a black-on-black 'Vette. Not only is this
1978 Chevrolet Corvette a cool midnight machine, but also you have
terrific features, like a loaded leather interior and numbers
matching V8 power.
A good black finish always has an appeal on Corvettes. It's an
upgrade later in life, and there's sleekness that lets the sunlight
show off the long and aggressive lines of the third-gen coupe. Not
only does a later C3 give you the color-matched bumpers, but the
midnight style is extended on this one thanks to dark trim and
tinted windows. And the intimidating factor is turned up further
with upgrades like the rear spoiler and bullet-style tail lights.
As you can tell, brightwork was kept to a minimum, and so you
really recognize sporty standouts on this dark coupe like the alloy
wheels and dual exhaust tips. It all has an attractive style that
you can also tell is a road-ready Corvette that's made to be
driven.
The full black interior looks deep and dark. There are even the
little things, like the working dome lights that let you know this
has been under detailed care. So it makes this Corvette quite an
appealing black-on-black package to show off with the T-tops out.
It's loaded with great features, like power windows, power locks,
leather seats, a tilt steering column, and provisions for air
conditioning (it blows cool but some may want to service it to be
colder.) The stereo has been upgraded to a Kenwood AM/FM/CD unit
that has modern connectivity for USB and Bluetooth. So you get to
choose the best in modern driving music for this vintage
Corvette.
The engine is a numbers-matching 350 cubic-inch V8 with a
four-barrel carburetor on top. Just like the rest of the car, there
has been attention to the right pieces. The motor has the tidy look
of a newer investment, including an aluminum radiator. And the V8
has been upgraded with a set of shorty headers to exhale with added
power and rumble into the H-pipe dual exhaust. The power steering,
a three-speed automatic transmission, and four-wheel power disc
brakes all make for the kind of coupe that's great for driving any
time. There are even newer sway bar bushings to make the fully
independent suspension feel even sharper.
This is the classic Corvette with a well-done dark style and plenty
of the right added comforts. It makes for a great total package
that's ready to be enjoyed. Call today!!!
