This 1972 Chevrolet C10 Super Cheyenne is the best of vintage and
modern. After all, the shining two-tone and houndstooth upholstery
are fantastic classic pieces. And upgrades like four-wheel disc
brakes, an overdrive transmission, and an A/C interior make this V8
classic quite a desirable cruiser for modern times.
The two-tone blue and white is a terrific classic color
combination, but it all has a touch of extra radiance from a modern
application. This is restored to a premium Super Cheyenne trim
level. That means you get the cool vintage wood-like trim running
the full length of the sides and on the tailgate insert. The panels
that line up nicely, the doors close well, and the clean look of
the bed are all part of a quality classic. Bright chrome bumpers
are pure Americana, which goes well with the upgraded polished
alloys. The 20-inch American Racing Wheels are on lowered stance to
fill the wheel wells nicely and help announce that there's more
here than just its vintage appeal.
The interior is a full-blue presentation with an incredible feeling
of vintage and premium, all wrapped in a fresher package. It starts
with the bench seat that has Chevy's iconic houndstooth cloth
inserts. Wood-like trim, clean loop-pile carpet, and working dome
light are all part of a premium and classic atmosphere. But there
are also well-placed upgrades. The radio is a retro-style AM/FM
digital tuner for upgraded driving music, and the cold-blowing air
conditioning makes summer driving far more comfortable. And there's
a more commanding driver's position with the upgraded wood and
chrome steering wheel on a tilt steering column that gives you the
best view of the full gauge package w/tach.
The engine bay has a clean and tidy look of care, and at the center
is a 350 cubic-inch V8 heart. This clean setup makes it easy to
spot nice upgrades like the Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, an
aluminum radiator with dual electric fans, and a CPP master
cylinder. It makes for a V8 that fires readily, drives excellently
and makes a nice rumble out of the x-pipe dual exhaust. This is an
everyday kind of usability feeling in this truck, and that mainly
comes from key driving features. The trailing arm rear suspension,
power steering, ZR-Rated tires, and upgraded four-wheel power disc
brakes give this a solid feeling on the road. And the 700R4
four-speed automatic transmission has overdrive for effortless
highway cruising.
A strong-running two-tone classic with everything from A/C to
overdrive will likely fulfill your entire wish list. That's why
this Chevy deserves to go home with you. Call now!
