For Sale: 1996 Chevrolet Corvette in Cadillac, Michigan

This is a 1996 Sebring Silver Corvette Collector Edition. The 1996 Collector Edition package is a $1,250 option that includes the Sebring silver color, commemorative badging, silver leather collector emblem seats, and carpet. This model also has the rare Performance Handling Package with the performance axle option. This makes 0-60 competitive with just about anything on the street. Collector Edition Corvettes were manufactured in 1982 (6759 produced, 27%) and 1996 (5412 produced, 25%). I am the second owner. I have the original window sticker ($41,119) and build sheet. This Corvette has 25,500 miles and has no mechanical issues and although it is 27 years old, it is also cosmetically near perfect. All the weatherstrip and leather are in excellent condition. Another important point often overlooked is examining the underside. This Corvette is corrosion free and is parked year-round on carpet, not concrete. Some Corvette owners take pride and great care of their Vette - and this Corvette is in that category. The tires are nearly new and the original gatorback style tread (expensive). There is a price tag on this Corvette. Will your investment be wasted and gone? Not really - your investment will still be there...it just won't show as cash in a bank account. Not many Collector Editions are priced less and not likely one that has been maintained as well with zero issues and 25,500 miles. And finding one involving significant travel to view usually ends up in disappointment. You will discover very few comparables to this Collector Edition, if any, anywhere. Imagine treating yourself by owning a pristine special edition Corvette from the last century. Reason for selling? I am moving (downsizing) and do not have a space to keep the Corvette.
