GR Auto Gallery is pleased to offer this 1941 Hudson Commodore 6
for your consideration. This elegant first-year Commodore is
powered by a 212ci I6 motor which is mated to a three-speed manual
transmission with a "three on the tree" style column shifter and
overdrive.
With a beautiful two-tone Silver Green Metallic/Pine Green Metallic
exterior, shiny chrome bumpers and trim, thick white wall tires, a
front-hinged hood, and suicide doors, the Commodore's exterior was
packed to the brim with great features. Inside the vehicle is a
clean two-tone cloth interior.
Hudson's were available in two trim levels for the 1941 model year.
Of the two, the Commodore was the top of the line. It featured
full-size hubcaps with trim rings, wider body trim, and larger and
fancier outer door handles, the interior was upgraded with nicer
seat material and a larger steering wheel, and a clock was
added.
This example runs well and has been left in a highly original
condition. It wears the correct Hudson colors, and has the original
floor mat and trunk mat, original seats, and the original
headliner. The selling owner also notes that this example has a
re-cored radiator and new rear shocks.
