This 1989 Chevrolet Suburban is a useful SUV that gives you classic
style and a touch of custom fun - all in an exceptionally practical
package. After all, you have a fuel-injected V8, overdrive
transmission, cold-blowing air conditioning, and a loaded three-row
interior.
The trim tag tells us the Gunmetal Gray paint is the
factory-correct color. Not only is this a nice color for modern
times, but it has also been given a later respray to keep a quality
style. So it does a good job of making this classic look good when
you park it next to more modern machines. There are nice details,
like the updated Suburban front end that was only in the later
years, bright chrome bumpers, and a luggage rack. You'll also spot
some nice upgrades, like the deeply tinted windows. The lowered
suspension and large 20-inch Ridler wheels make this a nice custom
distinction.
The tasteful gray interior is all about keeping this a comfy and
useful cruiser. The factory bucket seats up front are done in a
comfy corded velour. This came with a long list of options,
including power windows, power locks, a tilt steering column, an
overhead console, and the air conditioning blowing cold from both
front and rear. Plus, the stereo is now an AM/FM/CD/DVD unit with
Bluetooth and USB. So it makes for an ideal machine to load up
family and friends with the three rows of seating. And because
there's still plenty of room for storage, this makes for a terrific
road trip classic.
Under the hood is a 350 cubic-inch V8 featuring TBI fuel injection.
And so, while it's unknown if the odometer reflects the full actual
mileage, the way it fires up and runs lets you know it has seen the
right care. Plus, the headers and chambered mufflers give you the
right V8 tone you want in a Suburban with some custom style. But
even with the added rumble, it never loses its fundamental appeal.
This classic Suburban remains good for long trips, with power
steering, power brakes, front discs, and a four-speed automatic
transmission with highway-friendly overdrive.
This Suburban has an attractive style mixed with an overall fit and
finish that's never too fancy to get the job done. So when
something is this useful, attractive, and affordable... it's also
irresistible. Call now!
