Vehicle Description
The 1976 Datsun 280Z may already be a legend, but this custom one
will make you legendary. The flame-kissed exterior looks hot, and
the custom A/C interior keeps you cool. But what you'll love most
of all is the Chevy 350ci V8 power upgrade under the hood.
The first thing that grabs your attention is, of course, the
paintwork. The front metallic gray is burning hot, and you see that
as the yellow and orange are airbrushed into the flame. And we love
how it all scorches against the metallic blue. It's a commanding
full package, but this one is still built to be a driver you take
out and enjoy. After all, if you love being a disruptor, you'll
just love making classic hot rods jealous with the finish on a
Datsun. But that's far from the only custom touch. This has a
sporty and sleek front end with a custom front bumper package that
looks race-inspired. There's a similar style out back where the
bumper has been expertly deleted for an awesomely smooth style. A
ducktail rear spoiler, hood callouts, and an awesome set of 17-inch
alloys complete this upgraded custom style.
Just like the exterior, the interior is quite custom, and it goes
for the bold. The blue and gray of the exterior sets the tone for
the full custom interior. The two-tone is nicely intertwined on the
door panels, center console, dash, capering, and even the steering
wheel. And we especially love the seats that look terrific with the
custom design that also brings back the orange from the flames for
a custom Z-car graphic stitched into the headrest. Details like the
upgraded shifter and large speedo/tach deeply recessed into the
dash remind you a proper 280Z is a terrific driver's car. And the
cold-blowing air conditioning reminds you this powerful restomod
was made to cruise, too.
There's nothing Japanese about the engine bay. That's the
unmistakable appearance of an American V8. And it has the hardy
look, right down to those polished center-bolt valve covers. This
is a 5.7-liter/350 cubic-inch V8 that inhales deeper with a Holley
four-barrel carburetor and exhales through shorty headers. It's a
nice power upgrade that also has good supporting components, like a
newer battery, an electric fan, and an HEI distributor. The V8
upgrade is paired with a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission
that's built to handle the extra torque as well as provide
overdrive comfort. The reason why you use a Z-car for an upgrade
like this is that you get to take full advantage of its
sharp-handling fully-independent suspension. Plus, there are power
brakes, front discs, and modern sport tires.
This is the custom Z-car that's distinct, powerful, and absolutely
cool. So don't let this deal slip away. Call today!!!
