The Corvette Chevrolet celebrated their 40th anniversary by
offering a limited-edition package for Corvette coupes and
convertibles. Only 6,749 Anniversary Edition models were produced
thus making this a very desirable and rare collector car. This car
has only 13,147 original miles and it is fully documented with all
original paperwork. It was stored in a dealer warehouse before it
was ever sold to the first owner. Exterior is Ruby Red, the
Anniversary Edition color that was exclusive to the 40th
anniversary package. The paint still is in brand new condition with
no flaws. Emblems are still shiny and new. Car has the Ruby Red
soft top and that is in excellent new condition. It also come with
the auxiliary convertible hardtop. (Only 976 models had this
option). Emblems feature the 40th anniversary logo. Interior is the
Ruby Red Appearance Package with the adjustable leather bucket
seats. The leather still looks brand new, and all interior
components are still in factory showroom condition. The top of the
seats has the special Corvette embroidered emblem. The steering
wheel is the leather wrapped sport steering wheel. Engine is the
LT1 5.7-liter 350 CID/300 HP with multi-port fuel injection. It is
paired with the automatic 4-speed transmission. This Vette was
ordered with the performance axle ratio. Options include
acceleration slip regulation, power rack and pinion steering, power
disc brakes front and rear, independent front suspension, and
5-link rear suspension with transverse fiberglass spring.
Convenience options include Electronic AC, Delco/Bose
electronically tuned AM/FM stereo radio with seek-scan, digital
clock, and cassette player power antenna. Also are power door
locks, power windows, dual 6-way power seats, intermittent wiper
system, electronic speed control with resume, dual remote heated
mirrors, full folding roof, and power retractable halogen
headlamps. Safety features are drivers side air bag, Bosch ABS II
anti-lock brakes, anti-theft system, and passive keyless entry
system. This is a fantastic Chevrolet Corvette that will only go up
