A highly original 1989 Mercedes-Benz 560SL. This 2-owner, German
luxury roadster spent all but 2 years of its entire life in
Florida, and is now offered for sale by the second owner. This is
the final year of production for the 560SL, and these
rear-wheel-drive, last-gen R107 examples are the most desirable.
This particular example is finished in the gorgeous and rather rare
1989-only Garnet Red Poly, and the Saddle Tan leather interior is
in impeccable condition. The car features the very capable 5.6L OHC
V-8 engine (that produces 227hp/229 lb-ft of torque) which is
connected to the original automatic transmission. Only 5,139
Mercedes-Benz 560SLs were produced in 1989, with the number of
clean, unmolested, original examples certainly much lower today.
Equipment includes power steering, power windows, dual heated/power
mirrors, power door locks, air conditioning, heater/defroster,
Becker stereo unit, cruise control, and driver-side air bag. These
'89 560SLs also came equipped with a limited-slip rear
differential, anti-lock brakes, and a revised suspension. A clean
Carfax is included in the sale. Register to bid for your chance to
own it!
