This 1960 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe was ordered new on
July 15th, 1960 by Mr. and Mrs. Louis Rose. The vehicle was picked
up from Drummy Oldsmobile in Detroit, Michigan on July 29th of that
year. This car remained in the Rose family for roughly 35 years and
is believed to have had only two owners since. This Oldsmobile
retains much of its original Golden Mist Metallic paint and 100% of
its original Medium Fawn cloth/vinyl interior. It is equipped with
the numbers-matching 394ci/315hp V8 engine and original Jetaway
Hydramatic transmission. The car is also highly optioned featuring
power steering, power brakes, power windows, power seats, power
antenna, factory deluxe wheel covers, power trunk release,
dual-range heater/defroster, backup lights, tinted glass, 2-speed
wide-arc windshield wipers, tilt rear-view mirror and wide
whitewall tires. Extensive original paperwork is included with the
sale: the original retail order form, original dealer invoice,
original owner's manual, protect-o-plate (in original booklet),
Delco battery warranty card, Amalie bonded mileage dealer
guarantee, dealer paperwork folio, mini dealers brochure, two
professional appraisals from the mid-to-late 90's, as well as some
miscellaneous service records. Only 7,635 Holiday Coupes were
produced in 1960, so don't miss this rare, highly-original
Olds!
