Vehicle Description
This 1978 Corvette special edition pace car was sold new out of
Hopkins Chevrolet in Atlanta, GA. It came standard with two-tone
Black/Silver paint, special limited edition decals, rear spoiler
and front air deflector, aluminum wheels, Aramid belted tires,
Glass T-tops, sport mirrors, Silver/Smoke contoured leather bucket
seats, air conditioning, AM FM stereo cassette radio, power
antenna, dual rear speakers, power windows, power door locks,
tilt/telescopic steering wheel, rear window defogger, "Convenience
group", heavy-duty battery, 350/4-barrel V8 engine, automatic
transmission, power steering, anti-theft audio alarm system, and
more. This particular pace car was optioned with the Cruise-Master
speed control as well. This Corvette was beautifully restored
inside and out, top to bottom, and was recognized at NCRS for this.
Only 6,502 of these special edition Corvettes were produced in '78,
so don't miss this excellent example! A copy of the original window
