This is an outstanding representation of the Mercury heritage in
the convertible form. It has had a no expense spared restoration
that was fully documented with all receipts that the new owner will
get with purchase, as well as the factory owner's manual. It is
equipped with a 239 cid L-head V8, three speed manual column shift
transmission, solid front axle and live rear axle with transverse
semi-elliptic leaf springs and four-wheel hydraulic drum brakes.
The interior was fabricated by LeBaron Bonny to exact standards
with correct patterns and fine stitching. The simulated wood grain
dashboard has been faithfully recreated. This is a beautiful
example from the immediate post war era that is ready for show
anywhere.
