This super-rare 1960 Pontiac Ventura 2-dr hardtop was ordered new
with the (non-RPO) option Tri-power/348hp NASCAR V8 engine with
4-speed manual transmission! It also came factory with 8-lug
wheels, 3:64 Saf-T-Track rear end, power steering, padded dash,
trunk light, Super Deluxe AM radio, and E-Z-Eye glass . Here is
where it gets even better. After the owner purchased the car from
Taylor Pontiac (Akron, OH.) he brought it to the famous Royal
Pontiac (Royal Oak, MI.) for additional performance treatments,
like getting the carburetor jetted, upgrading the valve springs,
distributor work, and more. The car still wears its
factory-application of code "NN" mahogany, and still has the
original "242" Fawn tri-tone interior. 1960s Pontiacs don't get
much better than this!
