Vehicle Description
Here is a beautiful example of a 1951 Mercury "Woody" station
wagon. '51 was the last year Mercury used real wood coach building
on their wagons, and only 3,812 were produced. This particular
example recently received a comprehensive frame-off restoration.
The vehicle was acquired just one year ago from the Steelewood
collection. It has been refinished in its factory-correct Coventry
Green Gray, and every aspect of the vehicle, inside-and-out-even
the undercarriage-are in show condition. This Woody features the
Merc-O-Matic transmission as well as the AM radio, heater, and wide
whitewall tires. Don't miss out on this true collector's grade
Mercury!
