This 1988 Ford Mustang GT Convertible was purchased new by Mr. John
E. Beroset at Ditschman/Flemington Ford-Lincoln-Mercury in
Flemington, NJ. The original retail order form as well as the final
dealer invoice are still with the vehicle! Significant care has
been taken with this vehicle throughout its lifetime. It was
repainted in its factory-correct Scarlet Red in March 2001. Also in
that month, the white leather upholstery was redone as was the
white vinyl top. The air conditioning has been retrofit with
R-134a, and in the past 20 years, many significant services have
been performed on the vehicle, some of which include: a new water
pump, fuel tank/fuel pump and sending unit, full brake rebuild, new
spark plugs, keyless entry system, new alternator, new
rack-and-pinion steering & power steering pump and more. The
original owner retained possession of this vehicle for the
overwhelming majority of its life, and in recent years, it has
changed hands only two additional times. Drop the top and have a
great time in this bright red power pony!
