Need to down-size my car collection. So up for sale is a 1936 Ford 3-Window coupe street rod.. Starting with a very good original all metal (not fiberglass) car, the coupe was dis-assembled, blasted, and rebuilt as a modern (1-800) type Hot rod. Using a Chevy 350 crate engine with a Edelbrock carb, Protronix ignitor ignition, new water pump, one wire alternator, Headers and K@N air filter. 350 auto trans, 9" ford rear end, with a 3.50 posi.-track gear. Independent front suspension , Power rack and pinion steering, Walker radiator. Power disc brakes on front, and drum brakes on rear . Under dash air-conditioner. and separate heat unit. Lebaron Bonney original 36 Ford upholstery kit installed ,Dark tinted glass all around. New "Bob-Drake" covered running boards, and new "drake" chrome bumpers. Autometer custom gauges,(speedometer, fuel, volts, oil pressure, and water temp) with a small under dash tac on the left side. The Soney radio has a remote ,dash mounted control head, with the radio body and a 6-slotted CD changer mounted behind the fold up seat. ( see photo) Battery is also mounted there. The cowl vent still opens from the inside with the handle under the dash as original. Windshield folds out and the rear window rolls down, as the original ford did. Door glass roll up and down perfectly. Built in 2013 to 2014, this was my main play toy, until I finished a 37 Pickup. Driven mainly to local events, it took many awards including some best of shows. Millage shown on speedometer is not correct, gauges were changed to a black faced set around 2018 so I could see them better. Probably around 3000 to 3500 miles since building started. Has a small 1" long splinter in the left lower corner of the windshield, but is not noticeable and has been the same for years. The coupe drives and tracks grate and deserves a new home with some one who can give it the attention it deserves, and have some fun with it. Feel free ask questions, will try to answer all inquires as soon as possible.
