This 1976 Jeep CJ7 is a really clean lifelong Arizona Jeep that is
all steel and rust free. This is a really cool, original V8 Jeep
with low original miles and it still has the original hard top and
hard doors. The body is original and extremely clean. It is all
steel and you can still see the factory spot welds on the tub. The
dark Cocoa Metallic paint appears to be original and it still looks
great! It has aftermarket bumpers front and rear and the front
bumper has a warn 8,000 pound winch that works. This Jeep also has
a tow bar that can be easily removed. The underside is also very
clean and very solid. We found no rust issues with this Jeep.
The interior is pretty utilitarian but it is nice. There is no
carpet and the floors are all solid. The front and rear seats were
recently recovered and really nice. The door panels are also new
along with the Steering Wheel. This CJ has a nice stereo and a
Uniden CB. The headlights, taillights, brakelights, and turn
signals are all working. The gauges all work and the heat and
windshield wipers work. The heat is not working. One last item that
is desirable and cool is the factory roll bar.
Mechanically this Jeep is great!!The engine is believed to be the
original 304 V8 which is how this Jeep came from the factory. The
engine runs strong and the Jeep is fun to drive. The engine has
headers with dual exhaust and a newer carburetor. The transmission
is the Borg Warner T150 3 Speed Manual that shifts nice. It is
mated to the Dana 20 Transfer Case and the 4WD works like it
should. The rear Axle is the AMC 20 with 3.54 gears. The front axle
is a Dana 30 with 3.54 gears.. This is all sitting on set of chrome
wheels with 33 inch all terrain tires.
