Full of options and good looks. I drove this car to my
grandson'sbaseball game. We both loved it! For the record they only
made GTO hardtop in 1972, the same car in a convertible was called
a Lemans Sport.
EXTERIOR: Sharp looker, I knew I had to buy it the second I seen
it! I love the Enduro front end- rubber bumper, scooped hood and
fender air extractors. This one is also decked out with a rear
spoiler, hood tachometer and sport mirrors. The body is straight,
fits right, no rust or damage. Gorgeous Lucerne blue metallic. The
paint is laid out evenly and has a smooth, glossy clear coat
finish. It has some minor paint flaws on the tip of the rubber
nose. The white G/T stripe adds some pop. Rear bumper is rechromed.
The rally ll wheels and trim look new, they are wrapped in BFG
tires. Windshield looks new. The white power convertible top is
INTERIOR: The white looks and feels cool! It wont get as hot as
black. Excellent dash pad and instrument panel. It has an
aftermarket gauge cluster under the dash. Door panels and armrests
look new. Seats were reupholstered. Excellent carpet and
embroidered GTO mats. The tilt column has a new Formula wheel. It
also has a Bluetooth stereo with kick panel speakers. Nice center
console, shift indicator is updated for the overdrive.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: This is a GTO motor, just over 30 years newer!
It has the LS 5.7 liter fuel injected from a 2004 GTO. Included is
the modern front components- serpentine belt, power steering and
alternator. It has a custom made functional ram air system.
Upgraded with a modern air conditioning system. The car runs cool
with an aluminum radiator and dual electric fans. It also features
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the lid is painted glossy. Trunk
compartment is clean metal and was very neatly spatter painted. It
has a rally ll wheel for a spare. The well liner, mat and
weatherstrip look new.
UNDERSIDE: Overall very good condition. Front end components don't
look brand new but they have been redone. It does have upgraded
sway bars front and back. Bottom of the motor is all aluminum, it
has a high torque starter. Upgraded with a 4L60E overdrive
automatic transmission. Dual exhaust has a crossover pipe and
Flowmaster mufflers with custom tips going out through the valance.
Fuel tank, straps and sending unit have been replaced. It has disc
brakes in front, e-brake assembly is hooked up. The floors appear
to be very solid.
This is a car to use and enjoy. The upgrades make it perform much
better. With power windows and top you can put everything down
without leaving the driver seat. It is going to get many many
compliments too. It will bring pleasure to your life!
