Vehicle Description
Introduced as a more approachable follow-up to GM's legendary Task
Force pickups, the Chevrolet C/K has become a beloved automotive
icon that's won enthusiasts, spawned a giant aftermarket and even
inspired festivals! In fact, early C10s are so popular that they're
ever-present in every corner of the classic car hobby, from customs
and pro-touring resto-mods to mini truckin' and street legal stock
cars. More traditional than transformative, this razor-sharp Chevy
backs 383 cubic inches of all-American power with vibrantly
vivacious aesthetics. And if you like your classic to be
head-turning AND fun to drive, it's a great candidate for your next
cruiser!
BOWTIES AND COCKTAILS
The beneficiary of a detailed, ground-up restoration that was fully
sorted roughly 1,000 miles ago, this super cool Chevy walks a fine
line between sport and shine. That shine comes courtesy of vibrant
Cocktail Orange Metallic two-stage that was borrowed directly from
Kia's popular Soul palette. And that pigment, extended throughout
both the pickup's cab and engine bay, reflects a series of tight
gaps and flat surfaces that suggest quality certainly took
precedence over time.
At the front of that flash, a custom grille centers bright LED
parking lamps between a shaved hood, traditional headlights and a
fresh chrome bumper that's complete with tasteful fog lamps. That
hood, a steel Cowl Induction unit, fronts a crisp greenhouse, which
hangs one-piece side glass behind matte wipers and diminutive
mirrors. A smooth profile sails polished C10 handles at the sides
of an Oak bed that's finished with polished skid strips, massive
wheel tubs and a polished fuel cap. And at the back of the truck, a
second fresh bumper traces a trio of LED taillights under a
smoothed tailgate.
BIG CHEVY POWER
Pop the hood and you'll find 383 cubic inches of stout Chevrolet
small block that, according to this classic's current owner, easily
kicks out somewhere between 400 and 430 horsepower! A perfect
combination of oxygen and fuel comes courtesy of a coated Holley
Street Avenger, which is sequenced to polished lines, a polished
Holley regulator and a liquid-filled Speedmaster pressure gauge.
That electronically choked carb floats between a stylish black air
cleaner and a proven Edelbrock Performer RPM intake. At the back of
that plane, a hot Accel distributor sequences spark through loomed
Accel Hi-Temp Super Stock Spiral Core Wires. Trick bowtie fasteners
center stylish valve covers on tough iron heads, which feed coated
long-tube headers. In front of those tubes, billet serpentine
components spin a polished alternator opposite a polished AC
compressor. A big aluminum radiator is paired with a polished
expansion tank and two electric puller fans. That roster of proven
components is seated in a smoothed engine bay that's decked in
sweet Cocktail Orange Metallic skin. And that striking pigment is
dotted with choice details like bright sleeving, a polished brake
booster, bright dipsticks and a seven quart oil pan.
LOOKS GREAT, DRIVES GREAT
Behind that raucous small block, a tough 700R4 4-speed makes
excellent use of a 2,800 RPM Monster Lockup Torque Converter. That
torque flows through a familiar Ford 9-inch, which spins a
posi-traction differential under requisite mini tubs. Everything
rolls low and mean on a powder-coated factory frame that's guided
by factory-style power steering. An aftermarket 4-bar hangs modern
coil-over-shocks behind a factory front-clip. Quick stops come
courtesy of power-assisted Wilwood calipers, which milk a full
suite of stainless lines to squeeze a quartet of vented rotors. The
aforementioned headers feed aluminized pipes, which growl through
an X-shaped crossover and heat-wrapped mufflers. Power meets the
pavement through timeless Centerline Convo Pro 2.0s, which spin
255/60R15 Yokohamas in front of 29x15.50-15 Mickey Thompson
Sportsman Pros. And on-point detailing includes an electric fuel
pump, a floor-mount battery and a relocated, 12-gallon fuel
tank.
CUSTOM COMFORT
Swivel the doors and you'll reveal a tastefully customized cockpit
that's classy in all the right ways! Tight tan leather dresses
modern, power-operated buckets that are secured by modern lap
belts. A bowtie-branded dash hangs a slim pad above controls for
modern air conditioning, modern Pioneer audio and modern Dakota
Digital VHX telemetry. Rich carpet frames fancied up foot pedals
between Cheyenne-style door panels and a custom console that's
finished with lighted cupholders and a B&M Ratchet Shifter. The
driver spins a sweet, wood-rimmed steering wheel around a tilting
Ididit column. And everything stays isolated thanks to quality
floor insulation.
It's no wonder the C10 continues to be one of the market's most
popular options for stylish, all-American transportation! With
sweet aesthetics, epic swagger and muscle car streetability, this
Chevy is the perfect combination of form and function. Call your
