Vehicle Description
2007 Jaguar XK Convertible - Arizona Car - 4.2L V8 - Automatic
Transmission - Power Convertible Top - Red Metallic Over Tan
Interior - 107k Miles There really is nothing quite like a Jaguar,
especially the XK models which were completely redesigned in 2007.
Jaguar's ad campaign that year described the XK as Gorgeous. Both
the car and the ad campaign were designed to help pump up this
British luxury car line, which had already made great strides in
improving quality since it was purchased by Ford Motor Co. in 1989
as part of Ford's Premier Automotive Group (PAG). It became evident
that Jaguar could still design and manufacture a vehicle that could
compete successfully in the top end of the auto business, where
style, comfort and performance must be blended perfectly to meet
the expectations of customers who are used to having the very best
of everything. The XK delivered on the Jaguar vision of beautiful,
fast cars. Both the coupes and convertibles signified a slightly
new design direction for Jaguar and improved on the cars they
replaced by offering more power, a roomier interior, and improved
fuel economy. Among those improvements the new XK also dispelled
the misconceptions that Jaguar was an older man's car, had issues
with poor quality, and was behind in technology. Featured here is a
stunning example featuring radiance red exterior with elegant ivory
slate interior. This XK features an all-aluminum body, which made
this model significantly lighter, helping both performance and
increasing fuel economy. This car originated from Arizona and the
paint presents with some expected minor blemishes and chips from a
15-year-old car with 107,000 miles on the clock. However, the
finish still shines with a rich luster. The power convertible top
matches the interior color which contrasts nicely with the red
paint. Inside the cabin of this convertible exudes elegance with
its burl walnut trim. Sitting in the leather upholstered seats is
as comfortable as a living room recliner. The upholstery and carpet
show some light wear but is otherwise free of any rips and tears.
Standard amenities of this XK convertible are a security system; an
Alpine audio system with six-disc, in-dash CD changer; bi-xenon
headlights; Bluetooth hands- free telephone system; rain-sensing
windshield wipers; reverse parking sensor; a DVD/GPS navigation
system with a seven-inch color touch screen; keyless entry and
start; automatic climate control; and a universal garage/gate
opener. Not to mention air conditioning, cruise control, power
windows, locks, and seats. Safety features include driver and
passenger seat-mounted side air bags, along with seatbelt
pretensioners. The trunk is clean and complete with all the factory
safety equipment, and it can easily handle a couple of golf bags or
luggage for a weekend trip. Under the bonnet, the engine
compartment is clean and features a naturally aspirated Jaguar
4.2-liter V-8 engine. This power plant produces an impressive 300
horsepower and 310 foot-pounds of torque. A six-speed
sequential-shift automatic transmission with steering-wheel-mounted
paddles that let the driver shift manually. The transmission
additionally features a sport mode for more aggressive automatic
shifting. The undercarriage of this Jaguar is clean and presents as
never having been driven in inclement weather. This XK comes
equipped with power steering, a computerized active suspension
electronic stability control, and power assisted antilock brakes.
This is really a great driving car, with outstanding performance
and handling but still practical for everyday use. This would make
a great seasonal driver to enjoy sunny days with top-down driving.
Or, this car would make an excellent vessel for weekend trips or
day tours of the local countryside with the wind blowing through
your hair and all your concerns in the rearview mirror! Please call
if interested or e-mail with specific questions. Thanks for
