The early, unadorned Porsche 928, represents the purest form of the fabulously complex supercar designed to retire the iconic 911. With its non interference 4.5 liter V8, what it gives up in horsepower to the later twin cam models it returns with a car that is easier to live with, one that when coupled to a 5-speed manual adds more engagement and sporting character to what is known more as a car for grand touring than canyon carving.
This '79 model is a well sorted, low miler that hails from a desert state. Benefiting from mechanical and cosmetic refreshing over the last few years it runs as good as it looks.
