drive, aluminum bodied Trafford Engineering Automotive Limited
(TEAL) Bugatti T-35 built in the UK by illustrious TEAL builder Bob
Jones in 1988. The TEAL manufactured Bugatti T-35 needs absolutely
no introduction in European countries as there is an avid TEAL Club
in the UK where collectors buy and sell these incredibly authentic
looking Bugatti 'tributes' for upwards $100,000 USD. Trafford
Engineering Automotive Limited built/replicated Types 35, 43, 44,
52 and 59 Bugatti race cars from 1983 to 1996. About 200 TEAL
Bugatti's of the aforementioned types were completely
hand-manufactured at the small Trafford Brake Patricroft, Eccles
factory in the United Kingdom originally costing upwards $28,000
for a TEAL fitted with a Triumph or MGB engine and gearbox in the
mid-late 1980's. Of course, every Bugatti enthusiast is very
familiar with the (GRP) glass reinforced plastic or 'fiberglass'
Bugatti Type 35 roadsters that saturated the affordable American
consumer car market beginning in the early 1970's. But this high

many fiberglass replicas often found on eBay and other collector
