Vehicle Description
This 2014 Cadillac CTS-V wagon was first delivered to Silver Star
Cadillac of Westlake Village, California and remained with the
first owner until the seller's acquisition in February 2018. The
car is finished in matte black over grey leather and is powered by
a custom-built 6.5-liter LS V8 paired with a six-speed manual
transmission and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes
high-intensity headlamps with washers, integrated front fog lights,
an UltraView sunroof, a power-activated rear liftgate, dual-zone
automatic climate control, power-adjustable Recaro front seats, a
Bose sound system, and power windows, locks, and mirrors.
Modifications include an aftermarket Kenwood head unit, custom
flared fenders, and staggered Corvette Z06-style wheels. The car
was refinished in matte black under previous ownership and features
custom widened fender flares along with a CTS-V-specific hood,
front and rear fascias, mesh grilles, fender vents, and side
skirts. Additional exterior equipment includes HID headlights with
washers, fog lamps, rain sensing windshield wipers, heated side
mirrors, rear parking sensors, an UltraView panoramic sunroof, and
dual exhaust outlets.
The custom 6.5-liter LS V8 was reportedly rebuilt by Timeless
Kustoms of Camarillo, California, soon after the car was purchased
new. A 400ci short block was utilized along with Scoggin-Dickey
Parts Center CNC cylinder heads, Comp Cams valvetrain components,
an LS9 supercharger, a Lingenfelter pulley and blower snout, and
Kooks headers and X-pipe. The CTS-V engine cover is retained, and
an Airaid cold-air intake is fitted.
This CTS-V wagon is really off the charts cool, useable but still
extremely fun drive. The manual transmission Wagons are very hard
to find and this well done example is all the more fun to motor
around.
