Offered here is a stunning 1981 Volkswagen Vanagon L that was very
nicely restored about 8yrs ago and it shows extremely well today.
We have had a lot of these VW's through our showrooms and this is a
top candidate for originality, cleanliness, and quality. Painted in
the iconic Ivory (Elfenbein) exterior and beige cloth seats, really
allow this van to stand out. Inside the bus is very nicely
appointed with working Clarion stereo with aux and USB setup. LED
interior lights brighten up the cabin and provide the extra light
during camping. Fold down rear bench to bed is comfortable with
newer cushion and easy to operate. Step upstairs to the pop top and
the penthouse suite will really get you excited about camping with
newer canvas top and screens. Inside the kitchen is a two burner
stove, swivel table, working sink, mini-fridge and lots of cabinets
for storage of food and supplies.
Behind the wheel is a joy as the massive steering wheel navigates
the roads with ease and the peppy 2.0L with 4spd manual can get you
around with ease. When not cruising down the highway, swivel the
front seats around and deal your best hand in poker and crack open
a beer and enjoy the campsite in style.
This bus started its journey in California then Nevada and Arizona
before coming to us. Long ownership and a lot of recent service
that includes new; 16 gallon fuel tank, fuel pump, fuel lines,
injector seals, spark plugs, cap, rotor, ignition wires, clutch
plate, clutch disc, resurfaced flywheel, master cylinder, brake
master cylinder, front brake pads, rear drum shoes, tie rods, ball
joints, bushings, 5 new tires, windshield, new seals on doors and
windows, new battery, new speakers, upgraded Shurlfo faucet kit,
new flooring, sound proofing and new outdoor camping hookups for
water and AC/DC.
?This is a stellar setup and one that will get plenty of attention
at any car show, campsite, concert or show. Drive and enjoy the
ride. Mileage shows 21k on the working odometer and was replaced
from a previous odometer that read over 170k miles at one
