Vehicle Description
2013 Infiniti G37 Sedan
The INFINITI story begins in 1985 with the formation of Nissan's
top secret "Horizon Task Force." Its objective: to create a new
performance luxury brand. Literally from scratch, the Horizon Task
Force began working on an expansive vision, eschewing the simple
re-badging of current vehicles to embrace a new luxury automobile
ethic encompassing not only product, but the entire purchase and
ownership process. In July, 1987, the INFINITI name was born. The
fresh spelling with four "I"s and badge with its two central lines
leading off into an infinite point on the horizon symbolizes this
new luxury performance brand's desire to be always looking forward
- to new horizons, to infinity.
For consignment, a little luxury has entered into our Hallowed
Halls in the form of this 2013 Infiniti G37 sedan. Presenting with
89,101 original miles, this all wheel drive version is very clean
and well maintained. A full leather interior, lots of life left and
plenty of get up and go so you can Zoom Zoom with the upper
crust.
Exterior
Factory applied Gun Metallic paint bathes the combination of
neoprene crash bumpers and straight steel. A few chips, dings and
scuffs are present throughout the body but nothing to detract from
the overall presentation of this car. Swept back
eye-mimickingtinted Xenon headlights flank the subtly redesigned
grille which adds an air of luxurious distinction to the fog light
equipped front fascia. Polished trimmings and dark smoked glass
surround the passenger compartment and giving a sky view is
thefactory power moonroof up top. Badging is kept simple with the
Infinitilogos in bright chrome. Out back is a small deck lid
mounted spoiler and hovering below are the lightly tinted
wrap-around tail lights. Another body matching neoprene bumper is
down low with a pair of exhaust tips with slight heat rainbow
discoloration protruding. 19" Niche multi-spoke wheels are seen on
all 4 corners and are wrapped in 235/35ZR19 rubber from the 8th
week of 2022.
Interior
Various textures and contours of black are inside with the door
panels using a silver highlighting spear intermixed overtop of the
power window and lock controls. We also note the Bose premium sound
speakers and memory seat control buttons. Inside the cockpit
inspired rounded dash neatly houses the instrument knobs and
presents in the same black as the doors, and has a central curved
riser from the console that houses the climate controls, digital
radio with a CD player, navigation and backup camera display.
Within the console are the seat heater controls, the shifter and
snow control toggle. Flanking the console are black leather shod
seats with perforated inserts, smooth bolsters and the Infiniti
logo stitched into the upper back rest. These show age appropriate
wear and are power controlled for infinite adjustment. In back a 2
plus 2 bench is covered in bucket matching leather with a central
fold down armrest. Black carpeting floods the floors and is
protected by factory Infiniti carpeted mats.
Drivetrain
Lurking under the plastic engine covers is a 3.7 Liter V6 capable
of producing 328hp all the while maintaining good fuel economy.
Some fading on the plastic, but overall clean and we note the
addition of a twinopen element air filter intake assembly. It is
equipped with EFI and a 7-speed automatic transmission is on the
back. Power is delivered to all 4 wheels via 3.33 limited slip
differentials.
Undercarriage
Some slight surface rust but mostly rust free floor pans, unibody
and suspension parts. Also, plenty of ground effects panels to
minimize the air getting into the underside nooks and crannies.
Power disc brakes are on all 4 corners and are very clean, as well
as the suspension which for the front is independent with McPherson
struts, and a multilink setup with coil springs for the rear.
Drive-Ability
A quick starter, and good runner on the acceleration front,
cruising speeds, and solid braking. All functions were working
nicely during our test drive.
With its aerodynamic body, high horsepower V6 and the other
features were just the icing on this cake. Leather, plenty of
conveniences, and a smooth running awd V6 cylinder and EFI, and you
could have a date with nearly any lady you'd like, just make sure
to ask your wife's permission first.
