round off the options list. The original color combination is as
you see this car: 75 Paint code which is Red, and a 64 trim code
with Camel interior. Recent work includes a new aluminum radiator,
rebuilt HEI distributor, new spark plug wires, thermostat, cruise
control transducer, stabilizer bar control link, thermostat gasket,
new coolant, sway bar end link, A/C system check and charge, tie
rod ends, idler arm, hoses, power steering control valve, power
steering cylinder, rebuilt T-arm assemblies with rotors, brake
lines, new unisteer rack and pinion, fuel pump, water pump,
radiator cap, fuel pump gasket, engine mounts, spark plugs,
battery, rebuild carburetor, A/C blower motor resistor, alternator,
and tires. All of this was done in the last 1,500 miles. Receipts
go with the car. A chrome air cleaner lid tops off the engine and
looks great with the finned valve covers. The engine compartment is
clean and shows well!
An AM/FM/CD player has been installed inside along with the upgrade
of an armrest pad and cupholders for these C3 Corvettes! The glass
t-tops have a carrier bag, and there is also a wind deflector that
goes in front of the t-tops for when you're cruising with them
removed. There is also a car cover that comes with the vehicle for
storage.
The exterior has a very subtle gold pinstriping that brings just a
touch of character to set this car apart at the shows. The stock
alloy wheels always look great on these Corvettes, and they are
wrapped in newer radial white letter tires with a ton of tread
left. Only about 10% of Corvettes were painted red, surprisingly,
1981 and to see one with documented low actual miles is a rare
find! These have been increasing in value consistently over the
last 5-7 years and make a great investment since the older chrome
bumper cars have been priced out of reach for most people.
