1963 Austin-Healey 3000 Mk II BJ7, straight 6-cylinder 2912cc.
Cast-iron block and head. 134 horsepower, 2 1-barrel Stromberg HU
SH6 carburetors, Torque 167 Ft-Lbs @ 3000 RPM. 12 volt charging
system. Cam and peg steering. X boxed frame makes the car stronger
with a smooth ride on rear leaf springs, front suspension is
Wishbones and coil springs. Colorado Red paint is in Great
Condition with great gaps and fit. Nicely chromed rear and front
bumper with chrome headlight bar. Beautiful chrome grille and hood
insert, fresh air vent. Interior is Black with no rips or tears.
Bucket seats. Extremely fun to drive along the coast or through the
mountains using the gears more than the brakes, front Disc and rear
drum brakes. The manual 4 speed transmission with overdrive shifts
smoothly. Austin-Healey claimed it could exceed 115 mph. Built in
Abingdon, England. Known as the 'big Healey' model. The car's
bodywork was made by Jensen Motors. The predecessor to the MGB,
91.5 per cent of all 3000 Austin-Healey cars were sold overseas,
most to North America. This is a true convertible with almost
saloon car comfort, new wrap-around windscreen, wind-upside
windows, swiveling quarter lights, quick-action folding convertible
top in great condition. Spoke wheels with 15" tires in great
