Clean Example The lasting legacy of the W123 which is a solidly
built automobile with timeless poise and class. Introduced in 1976,
the W123 platform included a four-door sedan and sleek coupe. In
the U.S., the W123 was available in three body styles, coupe, sedan
and wagon, but due to stricter emissions regulations in the US, a
limited range of engines were available. Due to high demand, many
cars for immediate purchase were offered in a sort of black-market
with high premiums paid over sticker price. Not only were the W123
cars designed with luxury in mind, but were also engineered with

the 1977 300D sedan with only 98,000 miles on the odometer. The
brown paint on this car is well maintained with some minor
blemishes and a few chips in the finish but presents well with a
nice shine. The bumper chrome and related stainless trim and
adornments present with a nice luster. The rubber bumper fillers
are in nice shape and still soft and pliable. Inside the spacious
interior the upholstery, door cards, carpet and headliner are all
original and have been well maintained and cared for showing very
little wear and tear. The wood dash trim nicely complements the
clean and purposeful interior. The dash is filled with factory
gauges including temperature and oil pressure and analog clock.
Other options include air conditioning, power windows and locks,
Becker AM/FM radio, power antenna, cruise control and rear window
defogger. Under the hood the engine compartment is very clean and
well maintained. The 3.0L diesel is backed by a 3-speed automatic.
Meticulous maintenance is well documented in a journal that is
provided with the sale along many spares. The undercarriage of this
Mercedes is well preserved and very clean. The underside still has
much of its factory undercoating and features power 4-wheel disc
