Stunning good looks! To top it off it's a real #s matching 396 car
with factory air conditioning. This is the original color too. It
had a body off the frame restoration. The Caprice was the top of
the line Chevy in 1966 and I can't imagine a better one than this.
I knew when I seen this one I was buying it no matter what.
EXTERIOR: What a great looker. Not only the colors but the wheels
are a perfect compliment too. The body is laser beam straight, all
the gaps are square and flush. I don't see any rust or damage. The
metal flake is laid out evenly and the clear coat is polished to a
smooth high gloss finish. The new bright white vinyl top really
gives it some pop. It has a modern version of the rally wheel. They
are 18 inch billet, extra wide in back with performance tires. Up
front the bumper is rechromed, the trim and grill are excellent. It
has 4 T-3 headlamps. The emblems, door handles, bowtie mirrors were
replaced. The moldings are straight and shiny. In back the bumper
is rechromed, the taillights are original. The glass is crystal
clear all around. The door jambs are painted real nice, the weather
strips have been replaced.
INTERIOR: Down on the floor the carpet has been replaced and it has
reproduction rubber mats. It's has the full set of deluxe
seatbelts. The reupholstered bucket seats have a full center
console in between them with the stacked gauges. In front of me is
a clean original dash area that is not cut up or broken. It has an
original AM-FM radio and there's quartz movement in the clock.
There's a little bit of wear on the steering wheel. The glove box
has the pouch with the manuals. Overhead is a tight fitting
headliner in excellent shape and matching visors. The rear seat is
excellent, the door panels and armrests have been replaced.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: This has it's original 396-325 horsepower big
block motor that it was born with. Unique H code which came from
the factory with a Holley intake and carburetor. It's detailed to
factory condition: stock air cleaner, valve covers, exhaust
manifolds etc. New Holley carb. Features include power steering and
brakes. Also factory air conditioning that has been serviced and
updated with 134 freon, it blows cold. The brake booster is new. It
has spring clamp battery cables, hood insulation and the washers
are hooked up. It even has the glass bottle with washer fluid
concentrate. Everything is painted up real nice and neat. New
battery.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Nice looking finished trunk compartment. Rock
solid floor, neatly painted with a gray spatter finish. It has a
carpet mat and the cardboard filler panels on the sides. The spare
tire has never been used, it's on a black rim. It has the complete
jack assembly. Bottom of the trunk lid and the jamb are painted
glossy blue.
UNDERSIDE: The body was off the frame for a complete restoration.
The floors are immaculate and have been prepped and painted glossy.
The front end has been completely apart and rebuilt. It was just
given 4 new springs to raise it to the stock height. Replaced
bushings, ball joints, steering components, etc. The rear
suspension also received new bushings and shocks. Looking up at the
motor it's immaculate. It has the correct screw on canister oil
filter, rebuilt starter and a new flywheel cover. It has it's
original Turbo 400 automatic, the tag is dated 1966. U joints were
replaced. It has it's original 12 bolt rear end with a highway
gear. Custom dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers and turn down
tips.
I love this car. The entire package makes this one very special.
Others don't even compare.

professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure
your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do
a walk around video that explains the car's condition in
detail.
