EXTERIOR: Wow, it's an attention grabber. I was walking past it
with a customer, and it stopped him in his tracks. The body is
straight, no rust or damage. It has a cowl hood and spoilers. Eye
catching Daytona Yellow with painted black stripes. Overall, very
smooth and glossy. Jambs are painted nice, weatherstrips were
replaced. The chrome and trim was all replaced. It is a Rally Sport
which includes hideaway headlights, extra trim on top of the doors
and relocated reverse lights. All the glass was replaced. The
wheels are the star of the show. Chrome Coys-18s in front and
20x15s in back with Mickey Thompson tires. It looks like a
real-life Hot Wheels car.
INTERIOR: New door panels, armrests, window cranks. Dash pad was
replaced. It has a Monster Tachometer on the column and a gauge
cluster under the dash. New Pro Car bucket seats. Custom center
console with cup holders and a ratchet shifter. It has a roll cage
in place of a back seat.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Performance built 350 with a Lunati cam, roller
rockers, roller timing chain and RHS aluminum heads. On top is a
high-rise Victor Jr intake, dual feed Holley carb and sharp looking
cast valve covers. Braided stainless fuel line with premium
fittings, regulator, and gauge. It has a set of coated headers,
chrome alternator and power steering. The firewall was made smooth.
Runs cool with a fan and shroud plus an auxiliary electric fan in
front.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Refabricated floor and wheel tubs. The roll bar
extends into the trunk. There is a polished fuel cell with an
electric fuel pump. The battery is relocated to the trunk. Under
the trunk lid and jamb are glossy.
UNDERSIDE: Custom built chassis. It has a full boxed frame. Custom
aluminum floors. Upfront is all new suspension and steering.
Upgraded with tubular control arms and adjustable coilover gas
shocks. In back it has a ladder bar system with panhard bar and
coilover gas adjustable shocks. Flowmaster exhaust dumps out
halfway back. Disc brake conversion in front, drums in back. It has
a custom aluminum fuel cell with an electric pump. Looking up at
the motor it has a high torque starter and chrome flywheel cover.
Built Turbo 400 with a 3,200 stall, chrome pan and external cooler.
Narrowed 12 bolt posi rear.
