"NOT JUST A CAR BUT A WORK OF ART" 1951 Mercury 2 door custom .
This Merc was my cousin Teddy's pride and joy , his good friend
Gene Winfield built it for him . This Merc has it's own website ,
"GOT IT MERC .COM" , with a photo history of Ted and Gene creating
it . Magazine articles are also referenced for more history tidbits
. It is , of course , a one-off creation , chopped channeled ,
frenched and the Winfield fade paint job . The car is showing some
age on the paint . It had supposedly been sold to a collector but
that never really happened and it took 2 years to get the car back
and it had not been pampered like it should have . It is currently
located in Carson City Nevada with my cousin's son and it is now
properly store , nice car but it is not perfect anymore . It was
appraised at $180,000 after completion and now is being sold at a
fraction of that figure . It has a clear California title and is
being represented by Ted's estate , his children . I am just
providing the link to the car , I can answer lots of questions but
his son knows the car from day one . Please visit the website ,
gotitmerc.com , for more info and feel free to call me .
406-549-1700 . Thanks for your time ! John D'Orazi
