Vehicle Description
Zoom Classic Cars presents this beautiful custom roadster in
phenomenal condition built on an original boxed 1932 Ford frame.
This hot rod was built by the current owner and was road ready in
2003. The car has an appraisal for $42,000 and clean Indiana title
in the owner's name. The Super Bell front I-beam axle has a 4-inch
drip, parallel four bars, and tube shocks. The front brakes are
discs. Coil-over shocks support the Oldsmobile 10-bolt rear end,
which houses 3.23:1 Positraction gears. Drum brakes are used in the
back. The tall Hoosier rear tires, sized 31 x 12.5OR15LT are eight
years old, and the Flaked front tires, sized 185/65R14 are four
years old. The seller says the car steers smooth & straight. The
seller purchased the engine, a 454 Big Block V-8 in working,
running condition. The valve covers read "502" but the engine is
confirmed to be a 454. With a four barrel carburetor and block
hugger exhaust, the car starts easily, idles smoothly, and doesn't
smoke. It is equipped with a GM Turbo Hydra-Matic 350 Automatic
3-speed transmission that exhibits a very small amount of weeping.
Purple velour inserts in the tan vinyl bucket seats keep the bright
outside theme going inside. The seats are heated and the car has a
forced-air heater. The racing harnesses are also purple. A turned
aluminum dash insert is filled with classic style VDO gauges. The
tachometer mounted on the steering column is a Moon product. The
tile steering column is topped by a leather-trimmed steering wheel.
New carpeting was installed four years ago. The car has a radio /CD
player mounted in the upholstered trunk. There are some small paint
blemishes where the soft top meets the body as shown in pictures.
The tool trailer comes with the sale, and the car is located in
Mishawka, IN. Call Chris for more info: (646) 86603461
