1965 PONTIAC GTO GENUINE GTO-PHS DOCUMENTED-FACTORY 4-SPEED! This
gorgeous 1965 GTO wears a factory color, code R, Montero Red. It
has been repainted in a base coat clear coat finish which shows
very well on a rust free and straight body. The fit and finish is
very nice. It is straight down both sides. The stainless and
brightwork has been replaced with new or polished. The glass has
factory tint and is in good condition, newer weather strips and
seals. It rides on a set of polished Torq Thrust wheels wrapped
with a set of new radial tires. The engine compartment is nicely
detailed. Everything is proper and painted nicely. It features
factory chrome valve covers, a 4-core aluminum radiator and the
correct clutch fan. It also features a few upgrades such as a newer
cadmium plated brake booster with upgraded dual master cylinder.
The engine bay is painted in a nice satin black finish. The
interior is like brand new from the headliner to the carpet and
sill plates. The dash has a nice painted finish. Looking at the
dash, the gauges and speedo lenses are nice and clear. The seats
have new cushions and upholstery. The door panels, front armrest
bases, window cranks and door handles have been replaced. There are
front seat belts and a factory wood steering wheel which look to be
original to the car. The undercarriage is all clean metal and
painted in a satin black finish. The front end was completely
rebuilt and upgraded with front power disc brakes. The bottom of
the motor is clean. The Muncie transmission is clean and has been
completely rebuilt. It has a 3:55 rear end, clean dual exhaust
system with FlowMaster mufflers, newer gas tank and straps, The
E-brake is all complete and working. The trunk is very nicely
detailed with a coat of splatter paint, trunk mat, spare tire,
spare tire cover, jack assembly and new trunk weather stripping.
This is a very nice, documented 1965 GTO! It's the right color with
the right options! Power steering, power front disc brakes and a
wood steering wheel!
