This here is the complete package. Two unique styles of performance
combined into one, one being the supreme engine tuners at Callaway
Cars and custom supertruck builder Rocky Ridge. The result? An
absolute beast of a truck, this limited-edition, rare, and
positively badass 2015 Chevrolet Rocky Ridge Callaway Special
Edition. With an original MSRP of $86k, what you got when buying
this truck new was a real deal example of performance engineering.
Even today, new Rocky Ridge truck prices climb northwards of $100k.
As far as power goes, this Callaway-powered Chevy packs a 6.2L (376
C.I.) direct-injection V8 under the hood, with Callaway adding the
same 2.3L thrice-intercooled supercharger from the Callaway
Corvette onto the top. In return, you get 560 horsepower and 553
lb-ft. of torque. All that power gets to the front and rear axles
through the use of a 6-speed automatic transmission, providing for
smooth and seamless shifting. As Callaway worked on the power, it's
the offroad magicians at Rocky Ridge that took care of the
suspension. The truck has coilovers up front and a 4-inch lift kit,
designed specially for the use of 35-inch tires paired to Rocky
Ridge-branded 20 inch wheels. The exterior white paint is
beautiful, especially when complimented by bright-red Chevrolet and
Rocky Road badging, adding to the feeling that there's more than
what meets the eye when looking at this Silverado. The genuine
leather interior is exceptionally nice, with added carbon-fiber
inserts for that sporty feeling and plenty of creature comforts
including power running boards and even heated & cooled seats.
Options on this Callaway Silverado include power retractable
running boards, power steering, power brakes, heated + cooled
seats, GPS navigation, a great-sounding Bose AM/FM/CD/Bluetooth
sound system, power windows and mirrors, and a special Callaway
exhaust system. In fact, the exiting sidepipes are a Callaway
design and they come with one hell of a nice rumble. Despite its
size, this thing is quick. Motorweek tests shows the RR Callaway
rocketing to 60 in just 5.5 seconds, more than proving that power
is quick and immediate. The whine of the supercharger and the roar
of the sidepipes come together to make the perfect blend of modern
auditory awesomeness. Now, there's plenty of people out there who
might ask "does anyone really need something like this?" Well, no,
not everyone needs 560 horsepower in a pickup truck. But is it more
fun to have? You're damn right it is. If you're in the market for a
truck that is always a cut above the rest, then we've got exactly
what you're looking for right here.
